so far so good..

"THON" in SL is coming together. I've got musicians donating their time and talent, I have residents of Mill Pond willing to host Penn State trivia and fund prizes from their own money, and I have good friends willing to create and build items to sell during the event including a FANTASMAGASMIC Penn State Cheerleader outfit (Thanks, DrFran - you ROCK!!)

I'll be speaking with some people tomorrow about the possibility of relocating the event to a much larger area that would allow for more people to attend. It's so hard to know what to expect this year since we got into the planning late in the game, and it's hard to plan for the unknown.

BUT!! I think it's going to rock, and the REASON I think it's going to rock is that it's taking place in Second Life where there are tons of people that are very generous and creative. Luckily, I know quite a few of them.
