I normally post about "Second Life" related news/interests or events, but today.. today by God, I'm posting about Dick Cheney.

What an ass this man is. Truly. He's all pissed off and irritated because Nancy Pelosi visited Syria. wtf.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Vice President Dick Cheney accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Thursday of "bad behavior" on her Middle East trip, saying she bungled a message for Syria's president that was later clarified by Israel.
Cheney harshly criticized Pelosi's visit to Syria this week and declared in an interview, "The president is the one who conducts foreign policy, not the speaker of the House."

I dunno, Dicky, maybe it's just me, but in our current state of affairs, perhaps it's time to give someone else a shot at foreign policy.

"It was a non-statement, nonsensical statement and didn't make any sense at all that she would suggest that those talks could go forward as long as the Syrians conducted themselves as a prime state sponsor of terror," the vice president said on the Rush Limbaugh radio show.

A nonsensical statement that didn't make any sense at all.... hm. imagine that.


And yet.. views on Nancy's trip from outside the White House:

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel's acting president defended on Sunday U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's planned visit to Syria, a trip the White House described as a bad idea.

"I believe in your worthy intentions. Perhaps a step, seen as unpopular at this stage ... will clarify to the Syrian people and leadership they must abandon the axis of evil (and) stop supporting terrorism and giving shelter to (terrorist) headquarters," said Itzik, a member of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's centrist Kadima party.


So, Dick.. until I see some forward-thinking, productive moves coming from your office in the White House? Howsabout if you stop criticizing anyone else that tries to look at things from a different perspective. Are you criticizing it because you aren't man enough to do it, because you didn't consider it, because it makes the White House look bad.. or because she's a woman.
